活動簡介 Introduction
香港地方雖小，但擁有不少自然美景，當中更不乏壯麗的山巒、島嶼和蜿蜒的河谷及海岸景觀。這些地貌媲美世界各地的自然奇觀。就讓我們利用相機為她們拍下最美的一刻，將她們的美態盡情展現，從而令香港和世界各地的人仕對香港自然地貌有多一分認識、多一分欣賞，多一分愛護。
Hong Kong is a small place but endowed with abundant beautiful natural geological scenery. These include spectacular mountains, hills, islands, charming rivers, valleys and coasts. Many of which are comparable to those natural wonders of different parts of the world. Let’s capture their beauties with our cameras. Let their beauties be revealed and exhibited to people of Hong Kong and the world, enabling all of us to better understand, appreciate and care for our natural wonders.
活動目的 Purpose
「香港八大地貌勝景」是新創建香港地貌行一連串活動之一，藉此鼓勵香港市民發掘香港更多美麗壯觀的自然勝景，讓大家在相片中感受香港地貌的自然美。然後透過投票選舉，選出「香港八大地貌勝景」，以提醒香港人珍惜及愛護天然地貌。
就讓我們透過選舉建立香港天然地標及自我形象的認同，加強市民對香港之歸屬感，促進社會和諧，使香港成為一個更美好及多姿多釆的國際城市。
Through voting for the “Eight Geo Wonders of Hong Kong”, we wish to encourage more Hong Kong people to discover the stunning and spectacular geological scenes in our own territory and to appreciate the natural beauty of our geology. We wish to remind people to cherish, care and treasure our natural landforms and rocks in Hong Kong.
Through voting for the Hong Kong geo wonders, we hope that Hong Kong people will collectively establish our own natural landmarks. With such image recognition, we will further enhance our sense of belongings and harmony, making Hong Kong a better and more dynamic international city.
參加辦法 Enrolment
- 參加者可從20張候選的相片中，選出「香港八大地貌勝景」，大家可直接登入下列網址：www.hkrocks.net 或到各合辦機構網址內投票。此外，我們亦於香港國際機場一號客運大樓K行段 - UNEP世界環境攝影展場地設置投票箱。
- 每人只可投票一次，如投票超過一次將被作廢。
- 獲得票數最多八張香港地貌相片將成為「香港八大地貌勝景」，選中「香港八大地貌勝景」最多的人仕可獲名貴獎品一份，名額二十名，得獎人士將被邀請於十二月七日當日到活動閉幕禮現場接受頒獎。
- 是項投票選舉比賽的結果以「香港八大地貌勝景」籌備委員會的結論為最終決定，參加者不得異議。
- Participants can vote for their “Eight Geo Wonders of Hong Kong” among twenty designated photographs by logging in www.hkrocks.net or the website of any of the co-organizers. Ballot box is also placed at the Exhibition site of the UNEP International Photographic Competition on the Environment at Aisle K, Air Passenger Terminal I, Hong Kong International Airport.
- Each person can vote only once. More than one voting will be void.
- The eight photographs which receive the most votes will become the “Eight Geo Wonders of Hong Kong”. 20 participants who got the most number of “Eight Geo Wonders of Hong Kong” will be awarded with valuable prizes. Prize award will be held on the closing ceremony on 7 December 2008.
- The decision of the Executive Committee of “8 Geo Wonders of Hong Kong” will be final and binding to all.
獎品 Prize
我們會在選中「香港八大地貌勝景」最多的人仕中, 抽出20位得獎者。獎品包括：-
1) 「地貌生態書籍」一套及；
2) 可携同一名親友，參加船河遊覽本會選定的地貌勝景，船河細節稍後公佈。
20 participants who selected the most number of “8 Geo Wonders of Hong Kong” will be awarded with the following prize:-
1) One set of books about landscapes and ecology
2) Launch tour (winner can invite one guest) to the Committee's designated landscape. Details of the launch tour will be announced subsequently.
